"East Coast Sri Lanka Bliss" is a 15-day itinerary that takes you on an unforgettable adventure through Sri Lanka's picturesque east coast, cultural highlights, and stunning hill country. Starting in Colombo, you'll make your way down to Yala National Park, where you'll get to experience the thrill of spotting leopards, elephants, and other wildlife up close. On your way to Yala, you'll also get to explore the charming Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The adventure continues with a visit to Ella, where you'll take a scenic train ride to Nuwara Eliya, known for its tea plantations and colonial-era architecture. You'll then travel to Kandy, a city steeped in history and culture, where you'll visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and the beautiful Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. The journey then takes you to Habarana, where you'll visit a spice garden and the impressive Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The highlight of this leg of the journey is a visit to Sigiriya, an ancient rock fortress with stunning panoramic views. Next, you'll head to Polonnaruwa, another UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient ruins, before making your way to the beautiful beach town of Passikudah. The adventure then takes you to Trincomalee, where you'll explore the city and take part in activities such as whale watching and visiting Pigeon Island. Finally, you'll spend a few days in leisure before ending the tour in Colombo.
